Title: Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center Partnership Name Agencies or Entities: Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, Gordon Cooper Technology Center, Office of Juvenile Affairs, Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth Effective Date: 09/28/2020 Duration Date: 06/30/2021 Purpose: The purpose of the pilot program is to provide transition school-to-work services for eligible youth through a partnership between OJA, OCCY, Gordon Cooper Technology Center (GCTC), and the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) (Parties). Authority: WHEREAS OJA is responsible for providing youth in its custody transition programs and services pursuant to 10A O.S.§ 2-7-50(d)(1)(f); and

NOW THEREFORE, the Parties to this MOU agree to increase and strengthen transition services in the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center (COJC) in order to increase youth opportunity for successful transition to adulthood through paid work experiences. This service is provided as a program through the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY) called "Strengthening Custody and Transition Services." The purpose of the program is to provide transition school-to-work services for eligible youth in OJA custody through a partnership between OJA, OCCY, GCTC, and DRS (Parties).
