[email protected]Dale Rogers Training is the oldest and largest provider of employment services in Oklahoma. DRTC is committed to assisting Oklahomans with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment through multiple contracts with the Department of Rehabilitation Services, Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) of DHS and federal contracts through the AbilityOne program.
Supported Employment contract through DRS provides job coach support once employed for up to 6 months. Supported Employment options are also available through DDS for those who need longer-term supports.
DRTC has janitorial and food service jobs at federal contract locations – Tinker air force base, Mike Monroney Center (FAA) and the federal buildings downtown OKC. These are individual jobs that pay at federal wage determination rate and include health & welfare benefits. Job coaches welcome. No referral needed.
Persons with more significant support needs participate in the vocational services program where they have opportunity to engage in productivity based activities that include sorting, packaging, shrinking wrapping, and general hand assembly, etc.. They also produce acrylic awards and gifts, assemble custom frames and quality check and package promotional items. There are opportunities to learn hard skills in warehousing, screen printing, customer service and receptionist, most of which pay at or above minimum wage.
