Jim has enjoyed the Library for the past 10+ years. It has been a game changer. He was a big mystery reader and when he retired due to his eyesight and could no longer read the books we started doing Books on CD but when our eye doctor referred us to the formerly League of the Blind and we set up an appointment it enriched his life 10 fold. He is currently in Hospice and his book listening has slowed down. However for the past 10+years he has typically listened to 2-3 books a week. We even took it with us when camping or going to see family in Illinois. Every time someone would come to visit Jim would always get his tape recorder out and tell them about the free books he gets from the Library. I do not know how he would have gotten along without it.
The tape record is so resilient. It has been dropped a couple of times. It is also very user-friendly and he figured out quickly how to work all of the buttons. Thanks once again for enriching his life and mine with the books on tape.
