What is branding? Branding goes way beyond just a logo or graphic element. When you think about our brand, you really want to consider the entire customer experience … everything from the logo, to the website, to the social media experiences, even to the way we answer the phone. It’s the way our customers experience us.
It can be overwhelming. Don't worry. The Communications Office can help you get it right in your emails, letterhead, the use of our name and even the logo. Feel free to call us. We are here to help.
Email is the new letterhead. It is important that all DRS communications still have a professional, consistent look. DRS has a standard email signature that all employees are to use. Should you have any problems or need help setting up your email signatures, feel free to contact us, and we will help you.

Letterhead
DRS staff is supposed to use official letterhead on communications that need to be mailed. Go to iDRS to locate your division's letterhead. Add your address and phone numbers and save to your computer.

Award certificates
A job well done deserves a pat on the back and sometimes even an award.
When a staff member, a client or a student deserves to be honored, an award certificate can be a great way to mark their achievement.
To help make that process easier, the Communications office has created three certificate templates in Word you can use to make it as easy as possible.
Just fill in the award information and hit print.

Marketing campaigns
Sometimes making sure your message gets across to your audience requires a strategy. A good campaign requires many skills ranging from art design to message creation to media connections. We can help you develop and implement that strategy for maximum impact.
People with Disabilities Awareness Day
This is a great day for Oklahomans with disabilities and advocates to let lawmakers know what is important to them. Since 1994, more than 11,000 have participated in this DRS flagship event that is organized by the Communications team.
DRS organizes exhibitors and volunteers, but participants tell their own stories.
Exhibitors are there to show off their programs and be a source of information. This event boasts nearly 70 exhibitors, entertainment, awards and something new every year to fill the Capitol.
Special Events
From office celebrations to personal milestones, we are ready to celebrate with you. We can help with special events whether you just need for us to come and take photos, contact the media about possible coverage or write a story for Breaking Barriers. Special events can utilize all of our talents, and we offer them free of charge. If you need assistance call us, and let us help.
