Public website

The Communications Office loves to promote the work DRS does. One tool we use is DRS' public web site. Even though the information is geared to the public, it is a great resource for staff as well. Our public website is www.okdrs.gov. We have information on every program within our website to help the public learn what we do at DRS.

Our commitment to accessibility remains at the forefront. We chose a site format that rolled out of the box with many accessibility features built in and have implemented a best practice policy to ensure that everyone has full access to the DRS website. The navigation is designed with the audience in mind and showcases the site so the public can easily find information relevant to them.

You can get to our website three different ways, www.okdrs.gov and www.okdrs.org.

DRS has a large comprehensive website. We hope that you use our site as a point of reference for yourself and the people you serve. If you see any content that needs updating or where it simply needs to be added, please contact Dana Tallon, Communication Manager at [email protected] or 405-568-1404.

Social Media

Join the fun! Social media binds partners together who were once isolated by geography. The Communications team helps you effectively use social media technologies, networking and websites to reach your audiences. We want to share your stories and promote your programs in new places and more ways.

Web accessibility

Our website complies with Section 508 standards for the accessibility of state and local government websites for people with disabilities.

In developing this site, DRS wanted to take our site to the next level in terms of accessibility. Not only have we followed the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, we go beyond what is required whenever possible. We welcome any comments or concerns regarding the accessibility of the site. Please contact us at [email protected] or call the Communications Office at (405) 568-1404.

We also help staff with accessible formatting should you need a Braille ready document or an accessible pdf.
