DRS is undertaking a new branding campaign aimed at moving the agency forward with a unified and professional look. As representatives of DRS, we have a standard to maintain, and it begins with consistency.

We have our slogan, "Empowering Oklahomans with Disabilities." The motto is specific with our audience in mind and appropriate for all our divisions. We hope you like it and find ways to incorporate it into your work.

Branding goes way beyond just a logo or graphic elements. When people think about branding, they think about the customer experience -- everything from the logo, the website, the social media experiences and to the customer service experience with staff.

In short, our brand is the way our customers perceive our staff and agency.

It is critical for us to be aware of our brand experience because a good brand doesn't just happen, it is a well thought out and strategically planned. E-team has worked with the Communications Office to create, design and implement the new logo, email signature and the new slogan. IS will help everyone get their email signature in place should you have problems.

DRS has always created nice publications and given staff letterhead stationery and envelopes – what we have not given is guidance in what an official email looks like. We have allowed an “anything goes” approach and that has created hundreds of looks and variations of our name and our overall image. We've always had a slogan, but it was not always used effectively.

Our new branding promotes recognition for your division and your agency. If our branding is consistent and easy to recognize, it will help people feel more at ease when approaching us for services.
