Name Agencies or Entities: Have the tables outside and allow the indiduals to go inside

Purpose: Proclamation from Governor or mail awards...put winners names on website

Name Agencies or Entities: Why not have a legislative breakfast this year early enough in the morning so all legislators can attend. The breakfast is free for the legislators but there is a cost to each attendee. Have the tables all there and while the legislators are eating, give them lots of disability information.

Purpose: Forget outstanding achievement. Have a group of people with disabilities sing/plan/dance or whatever they do. Have a transition-aged youth get up and tell the Legislators what his abilities are and how he wants to go to work. That'll get their attention.

Name Agencies or Entities: Have training on advocacy and the right way to work with our legislators. Would it be possible to have a couple of our legislators talk about how we should approach them. We had them come to Hearland Counicl and it was great.

Purpose: Provide that information in a booklet form. Is their no space at all that would be available such as side rooms????? A Tent outside?

Name Agencies or Entities: tents outside the state capital building is a great way for people to get information about help that is out there thru vendors and will bring more people in that do not know what is available.

Purpose: why not have an awards program at the Historical Museum? We would enjoy a visit to the museum instead of the Governors Mansion. Most of the time we cannot even see legislators anyway.

Purpose: A program outside of the Capitol on the South side, if allowed.

Name Agencies or Entities: Have people go meet individually with their legislator.

Purpose: Hold a DRS Commission meeting in a large venue, invite all vendors, clients, counselors to come to the meeting, experience the decisions that are being made and once the meeting was adjourned, present the awards.
